Job Description

R&D; Parts Procurement (Prototype / NPI)

- Source low-volume, high-mix components:
- Electrical: PCBAs, semiconductors, connectors, cable harness
- Mechanical: CNC parts, sheet metal, plastics, 3D prints

- Handle frequent design revisions and quick re-orders
- Identify quick-turn / development-focused suppliers
- Ensure short lead-time sourcing

2. R&D; Equipment & Lab Procurement

- Procure engineering and lab equipment, such as:
- Test & measurement (oscilloscopes,



power analyzers, thermal cameras)
- Environmental test chambers
- Assembly tools, jigs, fixtures

- Manage:

- Technical evaluation with R&D; team
- Vendor comparison (spec vs cost)
- Installation & commissioning coordination

- Handle AMC / calibration / service contracts

- RFQ & Technical Evaluation
- Float RFQs with transparent:
- Technical specifications
- Testing requirements
- Compare offers on:
- Performance
- Compliance
- Total cost of ownership (TCO)

- Work with R&D; to finalize techno-commercial decisions
