Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location: Meridian Hospital, Kolathur, Chennai

Job Summary

Meridian Hospital is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the hospital's finance function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, statutory compliance, revenue optimization, cost control, financial reporting, and supporting the leadership team in strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the overall financial operations of the hospital.
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor revenue cycle management, billing, insurance, and collections.
- Develop financial strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Present financial reports and MIS to the CEO and management.
- Oversee internal controls, risk management, and financial governance.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, consultants, and regulatory authorities.




- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.

Qualifications

- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Prior experience in a multi-specialty hospital or healthcare organization is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hospital finance, budgeting, taxation, audits, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
