Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman / Mechanical Detailer to join our engineering and manufacturing team at our Ghaziabad facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in translating engineering concepts and design specifications into precise 2D and 3D manufacturing-ready technical drawings. If you have experience in heavy machinery fabrication, sheet metal design, and hydraulic/pneumatic layouts, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

- Technical Drawing & Modeling: Prepare detailed 2D fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and component layouts using AutoCAD and related 3D modeling software.
- Design for Manufacturing: Develop accurate drawings for sheet metal fabrication, structural steel welding, and Machining components, ensuring proper tolerances and fits.
- System Layouts: Draft and integrate hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical routing layouts onto vehicle chassis and equipment structures.
- BOM Generation:



Create accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) and technical data sheets to support production scheduling and procurement.
- Design Modifications: Revise and update existing design drawings based on production feedback, field performance, or client-specific customizations.
- Collaboration: Coordinate closely with the production floor, fabrication team, and project heads to resolve design queries and ensure manufacturing alignment.

Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical field. Certification in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in mechanical drafting, preferably within heavy engineering, special-purpose vehicles (SPVs), commercial vehicle body building, or waste management equipment manufacturing.
- Software Expertise: Proficient in AutoCAD (2D & 3D). Experience with 3D modeling software (like SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor) is a strong advantage.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;).
- Familiarity with sheet metal development, welding symbols, and fabrication processes.
- Basic understanding of vehicle chassis layouts and mounting mechanisms is highly preferred.

Pay: ₹10,016.53 - ₹37,979.49 per month
