Position: Senior AI Backend Engineer (Python, LLMs & OCR)

Job Objective

- To design, develop, and deploy AI-driven backend systems that automate construction project management processes.
- Power large-scale government and enterprise AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable backend services using Python, FastAPI, and Django.
- Build and maintain AI-powered chatbots using LLMs and LangChain.
- Develop OCR pipelines using:
- Tesseract
- EasyOCR
- PaddleOCR
- Google Vision API

- Extract and process data from:

- PDFs
- Scanned documents
- DWG drawings

- Automate BOQ generation, BBS reports, estimation, and planning workflows.
- Design REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Deploy and manage AI applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Handle Docker-based deployments, scaling, and server management.
- Optimize performance for large documents and high-volume processing.
- Collaborate with product, domain, and frontend teams to deliver AI solutions.

Mandatory Skills (Must-Have)

Core Technical Skills

- Strong expertise in Python.
- Experience with FastAPI and Django.




- API development and microservices architecture.

AI / ML Skills

- AI chatbot development using LLMs.
- Experience with the LangChain framework.
- Prompt engineering and LLM workflow design.

OCR & Document Processing

- OCR tools:
- Tesseract
- EasyOCR
- PaddleOCR
- Google Vision API

- PDF and DWG data extraction.
- Document intelligence and automation.

Tools & Platforms

- Cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, Azure.
- Docker and deployment pipelines.
- Databases: SQL, NoSQL, Vector Databases.
- Git and version control.

Preferred Skills

- Construction Project Management domain knowledge.
- BOQ, BBS, and estimation logic experience.
- Experience with government or enterprise-scale AI deployments.

Interview Evaluation Focus

- Python coding and backend design.
- FastAPI / Django architecture.

- OCR workflow optimization.
- Handling large documents (PDFs and drawings).
