About the Role

Potafo is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Fleet Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our Hyperlocal & Quick Commerce delivery fleet. The ideal candidate will coordinate delivery partners, ensure smooth fleet operations, maintain operational records, and assist in achieving key delivery performance metrics.

Key ResponsibilitiesFleet Coordination

- Coordinate daily fleet operations to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient driver allocation.
- Monitor rider availability and support smooth shift planning and scheduling.
- Assist in maintaining optimal fleet utilization to meet business demand.

Driver Support & Coordination

- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of delivery partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for riders regarding operational concerns.
- Monitor rider attendance, productivity, and adherence to company policies and SOPs.

Performance Monitoring

- Track daily operational KPIs such as:
- On-time delivery rate
- Order fulfillment rate
- Rider availability
- Acceptance rate
- Delivery turnaround time
- Prepare daily and weekly performance reports for management.

Fleet Maintenance & Documentation

- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and report vehicle issues.
- Maintain fleet-related documentation, including insurance, registration, permits, and service records.
- Ensure operational records are accurate and up to date.

Route & Operational Support

- Coordinate with operations teams to improve delivery efficiency.
- Assist in resolving delivery issues and rider-related operational challenges.
- Support route planning and workload balancing whenever required.

Compliance & Safety

- Ensure delivery partners follow company policies and safety guidelines.
- Conduct regular compliance checks and communicate operational updates to riders.




- Promote safe driving practices and operational discipline.

Technology & Reporting

- Utilize fleet management tools to monitor rider and delivery performance.
- Update operational dashboards and maintain accurate data records.
- Escalate operational issues promptly to the Fleet Manager or Operations Team.

Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in fleet coordination, logistics, last-mile delivery, or operations.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of hyperlocal delivery operations is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with delivery partners and cross-functional teams.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using spreadsheets, fleet management software, and mobile applications.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to respond quickly to operational issues and coordinate timely resolutions.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with excellent record-keeping and multitasking abilities.
- Educational Background: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work in a fast-paced operational environment and flexible shifts when required.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Calicut, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
