Key Responsibilities

- Supplier Onboarding & Sourcing: Identify and onboard top-tier tea brands, growers, estates, and distributors to expand our catalog across various segments (e.g., loose-leaf, matcha, herbal, organic, and premium blends).
- Category Strategy & P&L;: Own the revenue and margin targets for the Tea category. Develop and execute growth strategies to increase market share and customer retention.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring optimal inventory levels, pricing stability, and reliable supply chains.
- Commercial Negotiation: Lead negotiations regarding margins, listing fees, exclusive product launches, and promotional funding to maximize category profitability.
- Market Analysis & Curation: Stay ahead of industry trends (e.g., wellness teas, RTD formats, sustainable packaging) to curate an appealing, high-quality product assortment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, operations, and logistics teams to design targeted campaigns, optimize freshness in storage, and ensure seamless delivery.

Requirements

- Experience:



2+ years of experience in category management, buying, or strategic sourcing, specifically within the Tea or Specialty Beverage industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of tea varieties, grading, sourcing regions, and industry supply chains. An existing network of tea suppliers and producers is highly preferred.
- Negotiation Skills: Solid commercial and negotiation skills with a track record of securing competitive terms.
- Data-Driven: Competent in analyzing sales data, consumer trends, and inventory metrics to make smart catalog decisions.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to represent Jebelz.com to external partners.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Food Science, or a related field.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
