The Quality Engineer ensures all onsite extrusion, thermoforming, and manufacturing processes for food-grade HIPS and PP products meet strict BRCGS, FDA, and global food safety standards. This role focuses on implementing quality engineering methodologies, managing raw resin and finished product integrity, and maintaining audit readiness on the production floor.
Key Responsibilities
- BRC Compliance: Maintain, update, and enforce BRCGS Global Standards for Packaging Materials across the facility.
- Process Control: Monitor daily onsite extrusion and thermoforming lines to ensure compliance with food-grade GMP.
- Audit Leadership: Lead internal quality audits and serve as the primary contact for third-party BRC and client inspections.
- Defect & Root Cause Analysis: Investigate product defects (e.g., contamination, thickness variations) and implement corrective actions (CAPA).
- Material Testing: Oversee physical, mechanical, and migration testing on HIPS and PP raw resins and finished packaging.
- Supplier Quality: Evaluate incoming resin/additive lots and manage onsite vendor non-conformance logs.
- Staff Training: Conduct regular onsite training on food-contact safety, allergen/contamination control, and sanitation for plant personnel.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
