Summary:
As a Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and establishing a comprehensive cloud security framework tailored to align with organizational objectives and performance standards. This role includes creating detailed documentation of security controls and overseeing the smooth transition of security operations to a cloud-managed setting. The position requires continuous evaluation and refinement of security architectures to support evolving business needs and technological advancements, ensuring robust protection across cloud platforms.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of security strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive security practices.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access Secure Access Service Edge (SASE).
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices related to secure access service edge architectures.
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable security frameworks for cloud environments.
- Ability to analyze complex security requirements and translate them into effective architectural solutions.
- Familiarity with network security protocols, identity and access management, and threat prevention techniques.
- Skilled in documenting security architectures and operational procedures to support managed security services.
Additional Information:
