Software Tester

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs.
- Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform Manual Testing for web and mobile applications.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and UAT testing.
- Conduct API testing and validate backend integrations.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using bug tracking tools.




- Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and UI/UX teams to improve product quality.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best testing practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2–3 years of experience in Software Testing (Manual & Automation).
- Strong expertise in writing clear, structured, and comprehensive test cases.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as:Selenium WebDriver, Cypress / Playwright, Appium (for mobile testing)
- Experience in API testing using Postman / Rest Assured.
- Valuable understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
- Experience in defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
- Familiarity with Git/version control systems.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter).
- Experience in testing mobile apps (Android/iOS).
- Understanding of BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
