A Soldering Technician melts and applies solder to fuse electronic components, wires, or cables onto circuit boards (PCBs). They use specialized hand tools, operate soldering stations, and follow assembly diagrams. This highly precise work requires a steady hand, valuable hand-eye coordination, and a strict focus on quality and safety standards. [1, 2, 3]Key Responsibilities

- Component Assembly: Perform manual soldering and desoldering of through-hole (THT) and surface-mount technology (SMT) components onto PCBs. [1, 2, 3]
- Quality Inspection: Inspect solder joints for defects, ensuring they meet industry standards such as IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001. [1, 2]
- Equipment Maintenance: Properly set up, clean, and regulate the temperature of soldering irons, gas torches, or wave solder machines. [1, 2, 3]
- Testing: Test circuits and cables for continuity, short circuits,



or malfunctioning connections using multimeters or oscilloscopes. [1, 2]
- Documentation & Safety: Follow assembly blueprints and maintain strict compliance with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and safety protocols. [1, 2]

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: A high school diploma, ITI, or relevant vocational certification in electrical or electronics mechanics.
- Dexterity: Exceptional hand-eye coordination and the ability to work with microscopic parts or fine details.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of electronic components, reading engineering diagrams, and familiarity with different fluxes and solder alloys

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
