Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Social Studies Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in History, Geography, Civics, and Economics, with a passion for making social science subjects engaging and meaningful for students. The teacher should be well-versed with the State Board curriculum and capable of building awareness of society, culture, and current events among students.

Responsibilities:

- Teach Social Studies to students of Std. 6 to 10 following the State Board curriculum.
- Plan and conduct lessons in History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics.
- Encourage critical thinking, curiosity, and discussion of social issues among students.
- Use maps, charts, audio-visual tools, and case studies to enhance learning.
- Prepare lesson plans, test papers, and assignments; conduct assessments and evaluations.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a student-friendly environment.




- Participate in school events, exhibitions, and academic planning.
- Guide students in projects, activities, and general awareness topics.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. in History / Geography / Political Science / Social Sciences)
- B.Ed. Required
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching Social Studies at the secondary level (preferred)
- Familiarity with State Board standards and exam patterns

Desirable Skills:

- Effective communication and explanation skills
- Ability to relate historical and social concepts to real-life examples
- Classroom management and use of up-to-date teaching aids
- Interest in student development beyond academics (debates, quizzes, etc.)

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
