Job Title: Senior SDET – Backend/API Automation Testing
Job Type: Full-time | Fixed-Term Contract (6 Months, Extendable)

Job Description

We are hiring a Senior SDET – Backend/API Automation Testing for one of our clients. If you have strong experience in API automation, backend testing, and Java-based automation frameworks, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable API automation frameworks using Java and Rest Assured.
- Develop and execute automated test cases for functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end backend testing.
- Validate REST APIs, backend services, and microservices.
- Perform database validation using complex SQL queries and joins.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Test distributed systems involving Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams.
- Identify, track, and resolve defects throughout the SDLC.
- Improve automation coverage and testing best practices.

Required Experience

- 5–8 years of experience as an SDET with Backend/API Automation Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Postman for API testing.
- Strong experience in API Automation using Rest Assured.




- Good understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA). Hands-on experience testing Microservices-based architectures.
- Strong knowledge of REST API Testing and backend validation. Excellent programming skills in Java

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
