Production Supervisor (LED Lights Manufacturing Unit)

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and proactive Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities in our LED lights manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for supervising production line operations, managing workers, ensuring production targets are achieved, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring smooth workflow on the manufacturing floor.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily production activities on the LED light assembly and manufacturing lines.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of production targets.
- Manage and guide production operators and assembly workers.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
- Maintain production quality standards and minimize defects.
- Conduct line inspections and ensure compliance with quality procedures.
- Monitor production output and prepare daily production reports.
- Coordinate with Quality, Stores, Maintenance, and HR departments for smooth operations.
- Ensure workplace safety and adherence to company policies.
- Identify production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Train new workers on production processes and safety procedures.
- Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards on the shop floor.





Required Skills

- Production line supervision and workforce management.
- Knowledge of LED light assembly and manufacturing processes (preferred).
- Ability to achieve daily production targets.
- Quality control and defect reduction skills.
- Team leadership and communication skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Production planning and reporting knowledge.
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, production reporting).
- Understanding of workplace safety practices.

Qualifications

- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Production, or related field.
- Freshers with robust supervisory skills may apply.
- 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or production supervision is preferred.
- Experience in LED lighting, electronics assembly, or electrical manufacturing will be an added advantage.
