Job description:

Electrical Maintenance

- Check electrical panels and distribution boards (DB)
- Replace switches, sockets, and lights
- Inspect wiring and cables
- Maintain MCB, MCCB, and contactors

2. Power System Monitoring

- Take voltage, current, and load readings
- Check transformers, UPS, and batteries
- Monitor electrical equipment for protected operation

3. Troubleshooting

- Identify electrical faults
- Repair short circuits or power failures
- Restore power supply during breakdowns

4. Preventive Maintenance (PPM)

- Clean electrical panels
- Tighten cable connections
- Check insulation and earthing
- Maintain maintenance records

5. Equipment Handling

- Motors
- Pumps
- Lighting systems
- Control panels

6. Safety

- Follow electrical safety rules
- Use PPE (gloves, helmet, safety shoes)
- Ensure proper earthing and protection

Common Equipment in Electrical Work

- Transformer
- UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply)
- DG Set (Diesel Generator)
- Electrical Panels
- Motors and Pumps

Skills Required

- Knowledge of electrical circuits
- Ability to read electrical drawings
