Project Role : Quality Engineer

Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves coordinating with various teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of comprehensive solutions. The role includes planning across multiple disciplines to enhance the application lifecycle, focusing on accelerating delivery while maintaining high standards of quality. The day is filled with continuous testing activities, including security, application programming interface, and regression testing. Additionally, the role involves developing and implementing automation strategies, creating automated scripts, and managing data and environment configurations. Active participation in code reviews and defect monitoring supports ongoing improvements in the testing process, ensuring robust and reliable software outcomes.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to define and implement testing strategies that align with project goals and quality standards.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall skill levels and performance.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure testing activities meet business requirements and timelines.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Warehouse ETL Testing.
- Robust expertise in designing and executing test cases for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting to develop and maintain automated test suites.
- Ability to analyze complex data flows and validate data integrity across multiple systems.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing.
- Skilled in defect tracking, root cause analysis, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Data Warehouse ETL Testing.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
