Job Summary :

The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the quality management system related to PVC wire and cable products. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Quality System Management:
- o Improve and maintain the quality for PVC wire and cable products.
- o Ensuring product compliance as per relevant standards (e.g., UL, ISI, IEC,
- etc.).
-  Product Quality Planning:
- o Develop and execute quality plans for current and existing PVC wire and cable
- products, including defining critical quality characteristics, setting acceptance
- criteria, and establishing control plans.
- o Develop & execute quality plans of wire and cable process.
- o Knowledge of validation & verification of critical process (SPC, MSA etc.)
- o Knowledge of sampling plan
- o Work with WIs, SOPs, process standards ,4M/ECN management
- o Generate daily reports, weekly, monthly reports with analysis
- o Knowledge of wire and cable manufacturing process (bunching, insulation,
- laying, extrusion)
- o Daily Red Bin meeting and follow up for the major issues
-  Lab Testing:
- o Ensuring testing results from reliability lab with applicable standards and
- customer requirements.




- o Knowledge of lab testing as per BIS, IEC & UL standards.
-  Problem Solving:
- o Lead root cause analysis investigations using methodologies like 8D, 5 Whys,
- or Fishbone diagrams to address quality issues.
- o Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce defects and
- improve product quality.
-  Data Analysis:
- o Collect and analyse quality data to identify trends, track key performance
- indicators (KPIs), and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
-  Customer Complaint Management:
- o Investigate and respond to customer complaints related to PVC wire and cable
- quality, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
-  Auditing:
- o Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits as required.
-  Teamwork:
- o Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering,
- manufacturing, sales, and R&D, to achieve quality objectives.
-  Regulatory Compliance:
- o Stay up-to-date on relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer
- requirements related to PVC wire and cable (e.g., RoHS, REACH).

Preferred Qualifications :

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Material Science, Chemical,
- Electrical, or related field)
- o Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in
- the wire and cable industry, with a focus on PVC materials.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
