The Balance Group is a growing organization building a solid brand presence across digital platforms. We're looking for a creative and data-driven Social Media Manager to lead our social strategy and grow our online community.

Role Overview
We're seeking a Social Media Manager who can plan, create, and execute engaging content across platforms while tracking performance and staying ahead of trends. You'll be responsible for shaping how our brand shows up online and driving meaningful engagement with our audience.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute the social media content calendar across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant platforms
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging posts, reels, and stories aligned with brand voice
- Collaborate with design/video teams to produce high-quality visual content
- Monitor trends, hashtags, and competitor activity to keep content fresh and relevant
- Track and report on key metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth) and optimize strategy accordingly




- Manage community engagement — respond to comments, messages, and mentions promptly
- Plan and execute paid social campaigns in coordination with the marketing team
- Coordinate influencer collaborations and partnerships where relevant
- Stay updated on platform algorithm changes and emerging social media tools

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience managing social media for a brand or agency
- Strong understanding of content strategy, platform-specific best practices, and analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, etc.)
- Basic proficiency with design/editing tools (Canva, CapCut, or similar); experience with Adobe Suite is a plus
- Excellent written communication and creative thinking skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple content pipelines simultaneously
