Job Summary

The Senior Planning Engineer is responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and control of real estate development projects. The role ensures timely project delivery within budget through effective coordination, resource planning, and progress tracking.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Scheduling

- Prepare baseline project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
- Develop Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for projects
- Define project timelines, milestones, and deliverables

2. Monitoring & Control

- Track project progress against the baseline schedule
- Identify delays, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports

3. Coordination

- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and management
- Ensure alignment between planning, execution, and procurement teams

4. Resource & Cost Planning

- Plan manpower, materials, and equipment requirements
- Support cost loading and cash flow forecasting
- Assist in budget tracking and cost control

5. Risk Management

- Identify project risks and prepare mitigation strategies
- Conduct delay analysis and prepare recovery schedules

6. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain project documentation, schedules,



and records
- Prepare MIS reports and dashboards for management review
- Conduct project review meetings and presentations

7. Claims & Delay Analysis

- Perform Extension of Time (EOT) analysis
- Support contract team in claims and dispute resolution

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling techniques
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 / Microsoft Project
- Understanding of construction methodologies (residential/commercial projects)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Certification in Project Management (preferred)

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
