Job DescriptionJob SummaryPerforms advanced skilled activities to support manufacturing operations and business needs. Utilizes appropriate tools, machinery, and specialized equipment while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Works independently and serves as a resource to coach and guide less experienced team members.Key ResponsibilitiesHealth, Safety & Environmental (HSE)- Identify and immediately report hazards, incidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions.- Comply with all HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.- Proactively promote a culture of safety and interdependence across teams.- Participate in HSE training and continuous safety improvement initiatives.- Minimize environmental impact through responsible work practices.Quality- Apply high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship in all tasks.- Perform work as per diagrams, manuals, and technical specifications.- Conduct quality inspections and identify areas of improvement.- Support equipment uptime through failure analysis and feedback into preventive maintenance systems.- Follow all process documentation and quality procedures.- Proactively raise concerns to minimize cost and quality risks.Delivery & Operations- Execute preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment.- Support achievement of production targets through efficient task execution.- Identify and reduce manufacturing constraints and inefficiencies.- Participate in continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve operational problems.Teamwork & Capability Building- Communicate effectively with team members and support functions.- Coach and mentor junior employees; act as an informal technical resource.- Participate in training and development aligned with business needs.- Actively contribute to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives to improve quality, safety, and efficiency.Qualifications- High school diploma, secondary education completion, or equivalent relevant experience.- Additional technical certifications or licenses may be required based on regulatory or compliance needs (e.G., export controls).Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Skills- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and shop-floor operations.- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, diagrams, and specifications.- Familiarity with GD&T; principles and tooling concepts (preferred).- Basic knowledge of automation (robots/cobots) and troubleshooting (preferred).- Understanding of manufacturing KPIs and performance metrics.Core Competencies- Collaboration: Builds strong partnerships to achieve shared goals.- Communication: Clearly conveys information to diverse audiences.- Customer Focus: Delivers high-quality, customer-centric outcomes.- Decision Making: Makes timely and effective decisions.- Accountability: Takes ownership of responsibilities and commitments.- Problem Solving: Analyzes complex situations and drives solutions.- Continuous Learning: Adapts and grows through experience and feedback.- Results Orientation: Consistently achieves performance goals.- Inclusion:
