Job DescriptionJob Description – Production Engineer (Process Equipment Division - PED)Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Production Engineer to manage and execute fabrication activities for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, reactors, and other process equipment. The incumbent will be responsible for production planning, shop-floor execution, quality compliance, and timely delivery while ensuring adherence to ASME codes and customer specifications.Key Responsibiliti- esPlan, coordinate, and monitor day-to-day production activities in the Process Equipment Divisio- n.Execute fabrication activities for Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Reactors, Coke Drums, and other process equipmen- t.Supervise welding, fit-up, machining, assembly, hydro testing, PWHT, and final inspection activitie- s.Ensure fabrication is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, WPS, QAP, ITP, and customer specification- s.Coordinate with Planning, Design, QA/QC, Stores, Procurement, and Dispatch teams to meet production schedule- s.Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to achieve delivery target- s.Prepare daily production reports, productivity reports,



and manufacturing documentatio- n.Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, welding consumables, and raw material- s.Drive productivity improvements, cost optimization, and Lean/5S initiative- s.Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies on the shop floor.Qualificat- ionDiploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.Experie- nce6–10 years of experience in heavy fabrication or process equipment manufacturi- ng.Experience in fabrication of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Reactors, Tanks, or Boilers is preferred.Technical Ski- llsStrong knowledge of fabrication processes and heavy engineering manufacturi- ng.Hands-on experience with welding process- es:S- MAWG- TAW- SAWG- MAWF- CAW- ESWKnowledge- of:ASME Section- IIASME Section V- IIIASME Section- IXASME B3- 1.3Welding Procedure Specifications (W- PS)Procedure Qualification Records (P- QR)Welder Qualification Records (W- PQ)Ability to interpret fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and welding symbo- ls.Knowledge of hydro testing, PWHT, NDT, dimensional inspection, and quality documentati- on.Familiarity with ERP/SAP and production reporting is desirable.
