JOB TITLE: INSURANCE VERIFICATION SPECIALIST {Dental Process}

Job Summary:

This is a full-time role for a Insurance Verification Specialist{Dental }. The specialist will be responsible for verifying patient insurance coverage, managing prior authorizations, and handling related administrative tasks. Day-to-day tasks include communicating with insurance companies, confirming insurance benefits, and assisting patients with insurance-related inquiries.

Experience Required : 6 Months- 3 Years

Location: Mohali, Phase8B

Key Responsibilities:

- Verify patient insurance eligibility, advantages, and coverage details before appointments or procedures.
- Contact insurance companies to confirm active policies, deductibles, copayments, and authorization requirements.
- Accurately enter verified insurance details into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) or billing system.
- Communicate with internal staff to resolve discrepancies or clarify insurance information.
- Collaborate with front-office teams to ensure claims are processed correctly and efficiently.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA and company standards.




- Support administrative and documentation tasks as needed to assist the billing and verification teams.

Qualifications:

Education:

- Training or coursework in healthcare administration, business, or medical billing is helpful but not required.

Technical & Professional Skills:

- Basic understanding of health insurance terms (coverage, copay, deductible, preauthorization) is an advantage.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and performing accurate data entry.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other practice management systems.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional, courteous, and able to interact confidently with patients, insurance representatives, and colleagues.
- Dependable and respectful when handling confidential information.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
