Senior Engineer Oracle ERP Reporting (BI, OTBI, FDI)

About the Role:

As a Senior Engineer Oracle ERP Reporting, you will design, develop, and optimize BI Publisher and OTBI reports to support global finance and operations. You will work hands-on to deliver reporting solutions that ensure compliance, accuracy, and visibility across enterprise ERP platform. While your primary focus will be BI Publisher and OTBI, familiarity with FDI (Fusion Data Intelligence) will be valuable for broader reporting and analytics requirements.

What You Will Do:

- Develop, enhance, and maintain BI Publisher reports to meet finance and operational reporting needs.
- Create and optimize OTBI dashboards and analyses, ensuring scalability and usability for end-users.
- Partner with finance and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reporting specifications.
- Support data extraction and transformation processes leveraging OTBI and FDI for downstream reporting and analytics.
- Ensure compliance with reporting standards, security, and audit requirements.
- Build and maintain project artifacts: design documents, report inventories, test scripts, and deployment notes.
- Collaborate with ERP functional and technical teams to integrate reporting into core finance processes (GL, AP, AR, CM, FA, Projects).
- Provide production support for reporting issues, perform root cause analysis,



and implement permanent fixes.
- Contribute to reporting standards, templates, and reusable frameworks across ERP.

What You Will Bring:

- 5-7 years of experience in Oracle ERP reporting with solid expertise in BI Publisher and OTBI.
- Proven ability to design and deliver financial and operational reports for ERP modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Projects).
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and optimization.
- Experience building dashboards, KPIs, and analytics in OTBI.
- Understanding of data structures, subject areas, and reporting metadata within Oracle ERP.
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) connections for reporting and integration with external systems.
- Good knowledge of finance processes and reporting cycles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication and ability to collaborate with global stakeholders.
- Adaptability and resilience in fast-changing environments.

Must Have Skills:

- Oracle BI and OTBI

Nice-to-Have:

- Experience with FDI (Fusion Data Intelligence) and downstream reporting solutions.
- Exposure to Smart View, EPM Reporting, or Narrative Reporting.
- Oracle Certifications in BI or ERP Reporting tools.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery (JIRA, Confluence) and CI/CD practices.
