POSITION: Sr. Backend Engineer As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and
maintenance of our core backend systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to
design and implement scalable, high-performance solutions that meet the evolving needs of our
product. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in backend development, a deep
understanding of system architecture, and a proven track record of delivering robust and productive

What You’ll Be Doing: Design and develop scalable backend systems and microservices
Build and maintain robust, high-performance APIs
Drive system design and architecture decisions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features
Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability in production systems Qualifications: 7+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer
Strong experience,
preferably in Java and Spring Boot (microservices architecture)
Proven experience with REST APIs and distributed systems
Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch
Strong problem-solving skills and experience working on production-scale systems
Background in SaaS, SalesTech, or data-heavy platforms
Experience with event-driven systems (SQS, Kinesis, Kafka, etc.)
Exposure to the cloud (AWS) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
Strong ownership and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
Comfortable leveraging AI tools (Cursor, ChatGPT, etc.) to enhance development
efficiency and code quality
REPORTING: This position will report to the Engineering Manager or as assigned by
Management. EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
