Skills Required –
1. Hands-on experience in cloud security on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
2. Solid understanding of core cloud security domains including CSPM, CWP, DSPM, Code Security, and API Security.
3. Working knowledge of CASB platforms including Microsoft, Palo Alto, and Netskope.
4. Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM), role design, least?privilege principles, MFA enforcement, and conditional access.
5. Good understanding of network?level cloud security including VPC/VNET design, NACLs, security groups, WAF, load balancer security, private endpoints, and segmentation.
6. Experience with encryption standards, key management, KMS, HSM concepts, key rotation policies, and data protection controls.
7. Knowledge of cloud monitoring and logging, including CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, and GCP Security Command Center.
8. Strong understanding of cloud compliance and governance frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks, NIST, SOC2, ISO 27001 (good to have).

Hands-on implementation experience with Wiz, Prisma Cloud or Cortex Cloud.
11. Good to have cloud security certifications – AWS/Azure/GCP Security, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)/AWS Certified Security—Specialty/Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer/Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate/Certified Cloud Security Engineer (CCSE). Responsibilities –
1. Designing and implementing security controls across AWS/Azure/GCP cloud environments.
2. Deploying, configuring, and supporting cloud security platforms such as Wiz, Cortex Cloud, AccuKnox, and Microsoft Defender.
3. Creating and managing custom cloud security policies to improve configuration posture and reduce misconfigurations.
4. Implementing and reviewing network security controls such as security groups, firewalls, WAF rules, VPC/VNET segmentation, and private endpoint strategies.
5. Monitoring cloud environments using native tools and identifying potential security risks, vulnerabilities, and exposures.
6. Assisting in integration of CASB tools (Microsoft, Palo Alto, Netskope) with cloud workloads.
7. Supporting client meetings, issue resolution, and escalation handling as part of ongoing cloud security operations.
