Why this role exists:

The Technical Delivery Lead provides the technical leadership required to turn analytics, data science, and AI opportunities into practical, reliable, and scalable solutions. Based in our India hub, the role works across business, analytics, data, and technology teams to shape the technical delivery approach, confirm data and platform requirements, and ensure solutions are production-ready and supportable. This is a specialised technical leadership role, requiring a deep understanding of data, modelling, and delivery to connect business intent with technical execution.

In this role you will:

Technical Delivery Leadership:

- Lead the technical delivery approach for analytics, data science, AI, and data-enabled initiatives.
- Translate business problems and analytical requirements into practical technical delivery plans.
- Identify data, platform, integration, and reporting components required to deliver high-value solutions.
- Ensure technical delivery remains aligned to business outcomes, success measures, and operational needs.
- Provide technical guidance to squads and priority initiatives requiring advanced analytics or AI capability.

Data, Analytics & AI Delivery Support:

- Coordinate end-to-end delivery activities by working with Data Scientists, Analysts, and AI/Data Engineers.
- Confirm data availability and governance, ensuring that required data is fit for purpose and appropriately managed.
- Support model production readiness by coordinating technical inputs across distributed teams.
- Identify technical dependencies and risks early, including data quality issues and integration constraints.
- Ensure outputs can be operationalized, monitored, and supported in a production workplace.

- Embed quality assurance and monitoring into the delivery lifecycle to support robust analytics and AI governance.
- Enforce the use of trusted data sources, approved tools, and appropriate security controls.
- Promote scalable and maintainable practices across all data-enabled initiatives.

Process & Continuous Improvement:

- Identify recurring delivery issues and improve ways of working across technology teams.
- Build repeatable delivery patterns, templates, and standards for data science and AI initiatives.
- Support the uplift of productionisation practices and model monitoring maturity.
- Share technical knowledge across the hub to reduce rework and improve delivery readiness.

Who you will be working with:

- Data & Analytics Hub Teams: Partnering with AI Technical Associate Managers, Engineers, Modellers, and QA Associate Analysts to coordinate delivery.
- Leadership Teams: Coordinating with leadership teams to ensure technical plans align with enterprise goals.
- Data & Technology Squads: Providing technical support and feasibility assessments for multi-disciplinary squads.
- Enterprise Stakeholders: Translating business requirements into clear technical actions and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications and work experience:

Essential:

- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 6-8+ years experience in technical delivery roles specifically focused on analytics, data science, or AI-enabled solutions.
- Technical Mastery: Strong understanding across the data lifecycle, including modelling, integration, and productionisation.
- Leadership: Proven ability to provide technical guidance to squads and lead complex technical delivery plans.
- Adaptability: Essential knowledge of modern platforms such as Snowflake and GitHub, with the ability to adapt to new AI technologies. And cloud

Preferred:

- Specialist Skills: Experience in LLMOps/MLOps, analytics engineering, or cloud-native delivery practices.
- Retail Context: Familiarity with high-volume omnichannel retail environments and complex data migrations.
