Job Requirements*

- < 6–12 years of experience in data integration or ETL development, with significant expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and the Azure data ecosystem
- Proven ability to design and orchestrate data pipelines using ADF – including creating pipelines, data flows, triggers, and integration runtimes – to ingest and transform data from various sources
- Strong working knowledge of Azure data services, such as Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure SQL Database / Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and related components that are often part of ADF solutions.
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data transformation techniques, including proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data modeling (relational data warehouses, star schema).
- Ability to implement and troubleshoot custom code or scripts (e.g., PowerShell, .NET, Python) within ADF pipelines or Azure Functions for scenarios that require bespoke processing or complex transformations.
- Knowledge of data security and compliance in an Azure workplace, including handling of sensitive data, encryption,



and role-based access control, is desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with architects, data scientists, and business analysts to deliver effective data solutions on time.>

Key Responsibilities*

< ADF Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory. Create and configure activities, data flows, and triggers to automate data movement and transformation between source and target systems.

-Data Integration: Integrate data from a variety of sources (databases, APIs, on-premises systems, cloud storage) into Azure using ADFconnectors and linked services. Ensure data is properly mapped and transformed to meet target schema requirements.

-Azure Service Coordination: Work closely with other

Azure data services, such as orchestrating data through

-Azure Databricks transformation notebooks, loading into Azure Synapse Analytics or Azure SQL, and storing raw or processed data in Data Lake Storage.

-Performance Optimization: Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot failures or bottlenecks. Optimize data flows for speed and resource efficiency, leveraging parallelism, partitioning, and properly sizing integration runtime resources.

Security & Compliance: Implement best practices for data security within ADF pipelines, such as secure credential management (Key Vault), and ensure compliance with data governance policies when moving and transforming sensitive data.

-Documentation & Support: Document all data pipeline designs, configurations, and transformations clearly for future reference and knowledge sharing. Provide support for data pipelines in production, including on-call troubleshooting as needed, and continuously refine processes for reliability and maintainability>
