Role Description The Duty Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Duty Manager oversees day-to-day cinema operations, including managing staff schedules, ensuring adherence to operational standards, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests. This role coordinates box office, concessions, and auditorium activities to deliver efficient service and a high-quality customer experience. The Duty Manager monitors facility upkeep, handles escalated guest concerns, supports show-time and event management,



and ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The position also involves basic reporting on sales and operations, collaborating with senior management, and supporting local marketing or promotional activities when required.
Qualifications

- Solid customer service and front-of-house management skills, with the ability to handle guest queries and resolve issues professionally.
- Experience in team supervision, staff scheduling, and performance monitoring in a hospitality, retail, or entertainment environment.
- Operational skills in cash handling, basic reporting, inventory oversight, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Ability to manage time-sensitive activities such as show-time coordination, event support, and quick decision-making during peak hours.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Comfort with basic digital tools and point-of-sale systems; prior exposure to cinema or entertainment operations is an advantage.
- Strong focus on safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance, including emergency procedures and crowd management.
- Preferred qualification: Diploma or bachelor's degree in hospitality, management, business, or a related field; relevant experience can be considered in lieu of formal education.
