Role Purpose
The CDGC Specialist will be responsible for implementing and managing Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog solutions to enable data discovery, lineage, governance, and compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage Informatica CDGC (Cloud Data Governance & Catalog)
- Configure and maintain data catalog, business glossary, and metadata management
- Establish data lineage and impact analysis frameworks
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance policies and standards
- Enable data discovery and self-service analytics capabilities
- Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements
- Integrate CDGC with data sources, ETL tools, and enterprise systems
- Support data stewardship and governance workflows
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Informatica CDGC / EDC / Axon
- Expertise in metadata management, data cataloging, and lineage
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices
- Experience with SQL and data analysis concepts
- Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Informatica CDGC / EDC certification – valuable to have
- Experience with data privacy regulations (PDPL, GDPR, etc.)
- Exposure to enterprise data governance programs
