Job Title: Electrician
Department: Administration / Maintenance
Reporting To: Admin Manager / Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary

Responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment to ensure the protected and uninterrupted operation of the institute's facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, panels, switches, lighting, and equipment.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely rectification.
- Maintain DG sets, UPS, electrical panels, and power distribution systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.
- Maintain maintenance records and inventory of electrical materials.




- Coordinate with external vendors for major repairs and AMCs.
- Attend emergency electrical breakdowns and perform other maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualification & Experience

- ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
- Valid Electrical License (preferred).

Skills

- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read electrical drawings.
- Familiarity with electrical safety practices.
- Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
