Position Overview:

As a Trainee Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and

development of mechanical components, systems, and products. You will work under the

supervision and guidance of experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience in various

aspects of mechanical design engineering.

Responsibilities:

● Assisting in the design and development of mechanical components, systems,

and products according to project requirements and specifications.

● Collaborating with senior engineers and team members to brainstorm ideas,

create concepts, and develop design solutions.

● Conducting research and gathering relevant information to support the design

process, including materials selection, manufacturing processes, and industry

standards.

● Creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings using computer-aided design (CAD)

software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design standards.

● Participating in design reviews and providing input to improve designs for

functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.

● Assisting in the preparation of technical documentation, such as engineering

drawings, specifications, and reports.

● Supporting prototype development and testing activities, analyzing test results,

and making recommendations for design modifications

● Staying updated with industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in

mechanical design engineering.





● Adhering to project timelines and delivering assigned tasks within specified deadlines.

Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

● Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

● Relevant internships or project experience in mechanical engineering is an

advantage.

Technical Skills:

● Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Catia, Onshape) and other

design tools.

● Basic understanding of mechanical systems, material properties, and

manufacturing processes.

● Familiarity with prototyping, product testing, and failure analysis is a plus.

Soft Skills:

● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

● Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with attention to

detail.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
