Experience: (No. of years) : Minimum of 10 - 14 years of experience in purchase / procurement preferably for engineering goods & services, preferably from the renewable energy, manufacturing or Telecom industry.

Expertise with ERP systems / Supply chain software. Experience of ERP implementation will be preferred

Purpose: The purpose of this profile is to Drive end-to-end procurement and vendor management for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects: develop and audit service providers, negotiate high-value contracts and SLAs, plan inventory, enforce ERP best practices, conduct vendor performance reviews, and build a high-performing procurement team..

Key Responsibilities:

- Vendor development for installation and commissioning services for rooftop and ground mounted projects
- Conduct technical and commercial due diligence of service vendors, including capability assessment, manpower strength, equipment availability, safety practices, financial stability and previous project experience
- Vendor management and quarterly Vendor performance review implementation
- Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Planning, Site Execution and Finance teams to understand project-wise service procurement requirements and timelines.




- Develop rate contracts, standard service rate cards and commercial benchmarks for frequently used services.
- Negotiation with vendors for high value services and roof top materials to reduce average cost
- Ensure productive utilization of ERP by self and team
- Draft and negotiates all service related contracts, SLA’s and claims resolution
- Check all bills / invoices are as per the PO and services delivered and process for payment as per PO terms.
- Track and report procurement savings achieved against initial quotations, budgeted costs and previous purchase rates.
- Guide, review and monitor the performance of procurement executives and coordinators handling service procurement activities.
