Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Technician to maintain, diagnose, repair, and service electric two-wheelers and rental fleet vehicles. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, and ensuring fleet readiness. The Technician will play a key role in minimizing vehicle downtime and maintaining high safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and servicing of EV two-wheelers and rental vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults.
- Inspect batteries, motors, controllers, brakes, suspension, lighting systems, and other vehicle components.
- Perform battery health checks, charging system inspections, and battery replacements where required.
- Repair and replace defective vehicle parts using approved tools and procedures.
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and post-service quality checks.
- Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and available for rental operations with minimum downtime.
- Respond to vehicle breakdowns and provide on-site troubleshooting when required.
- Maintain accurate service records, repair logs, spare parts usage, and maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with the Operations team regarding vehicle availability and maintenance planning.
- Ensure proper inventory management of spare parts, tools, consumables, and workshop equipment.
- Follow all company SOPs,



safety guidelines, and manufacturer service standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop and service area.
- Escalate recurring technical issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance fleet reliability and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- ITI/Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Certification in EV maintenance or automotive diagnostics is an added advantage.
- Valid Two-Wheeler Driving License (mandatory).
- Four-Wheeler Driving License is preferred.

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in automobile service, EV servicing, or fleet maintenance.
- Experience with electric two-wheelers, lithium-ion battery systems, and rental fleet operations is preferred.
- Experience working with automotive diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
