Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the company's day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience in Tally, and be capable of independently handling financial records, statutory compliance, taxation, and reporting while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain books of accounts in Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
- Record and verify all financial transactions, including receipts, payments, journals, and contra entries.
- Prepare and maintain Cash Book, Bank Book, Purchase Register, Sales Register, and General Ledger.
- Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) on a regular basis.
- Manage Accounts Receivable (Debtors) and Accounts Payable (Creditors).
- Handle GST accounting, including sales and purchase reconciliation, GST input credit verification, and return preparation support.
- Deduct and account for TDS as applicable and maintain related records.
- Assist in statutory compliance related to GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Skilled Tax, and other applicable regulations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in preparing Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Cash Flow Statement, and MIS reports.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks,



and government authorities during audits and assessments.
- Maintain proper filing of accounting documents, vouchers, invoices, and statutory records.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and accounting standards.
- Support management with financial analysis, budgeting, and other accounting-related tasks.

Required Skills & Knowledge

- Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF functions, basic formulas) and MS Office.
- Knowledge of Journal Entries, Ledger Posting, Trial Balance, Bank Reconciliation, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, and Profit & Loss Statements.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle financial information responsibly.

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) – Mandatory.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Experience in retail, trading, manufacturing, or service industry will be an added advantage.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
