Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Assessment

- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, hearing, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and swallowing assessments.
- Administer standardized diagnostic tests and prepare detailed assessment reports.
- Identify communication and hearing disorders across all age groups.

Therapy & Rehabilitation

- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide speech-language therapy and auditory rehabilitation services.
- Manage patients with developmental delays, neurological disorders, autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson's disease, and other communication disorders.
- Provide hearing aid counselling, fitting support, and auditory training where applicable.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.

Patient & Family Education





- Educate patients and caregivers regarding therapy goals, home-based exercises, communication strategies, and hearing conservation.
- Provide counselling regarding hearing loss, speech disorders, and rehabilitation options.

Documentation

- Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, assessment reports, progress summaries, and discharge documentation.
- Ensure timely completion of clinical documentation in accordance with hospital policies.

Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP) or Master's Degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (MASLP) from a recognized institution.
