Job Description - Typist (Radiology)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Radiology Typist to support our radiology department by accurately transcribing diagnostic reports. The ideal candidate should have excellent typing speed, strong knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while ensuring timely report delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Transcribe radiologists' dictated reports accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare, edit, and proofread radiology reports before final submission.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Ensure reports are completed within the required turnaround time.
- Coordinate with radiologists and clinical staff to clarify report details when required.




- Maintain electronic records and update patient information in the Hospital Information System (HIS) or Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Identify and correct grammatical, formatting, and medical terminology errors.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to the radiology department as needed.

Requirements :

- 1 year of experience as a Radiology Typist or Medical Transcriptionist (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills. Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline; certification in Medical Transcription is preferred.

Pay: Up to ₹6,000.00 per month
