Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and result-oriented *Production Engineer* to manage Injection Moulding production activities, ensure smooth shift operations, improve machine efficiency, and achieve daily production targets. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in machine setup, process optimization, troubleshooting, manpower handling, and production documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Shift Production Management

- Handle complete shift operations for Injection Moulding machines.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per daily production plan.
- Monitor machine performance and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams for uninterrupted production.

Injection Moulding Process

- Operate and monitor Injection Moulding processes.
- Perform process optimization to improve productivity and quality.
- Troubleshoot molding defects and process-related issues.
- Maintain process parameters for consistent product quality.

Machine & Mold Setup

- Perform machine startup, mold setting, and production trials.
- Ensure proper machine setup before production.
- Monitor mold performance and report abnormalities.
- Coordinate mold changes as per production schedule.

Production Planning & OEE

- Execute production according to the approved production plan.




- Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and identify improvement opportunities.
- Reduce cycle time, rejection, and machine downtime.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for higher productivity.

Manpower & Material Management

- Allocate operators based on production requirements.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials and consumables.
- Monitor shop floor discipline and safe working practices.
- Train operators on standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain daily production reports and shift records.
- Update production data in ERP/production systems.
- Ensure accurate documentation of machine parameters and production logs.
- Prepare downtime, rejection, and production MIS reports.

Required Skills

- Experience in Injection Moulding machine operations.
- Knowledge of Injection Moulding process and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience in machine startup, mold setting, and production trials.
- Understanding of production planning and OEE concepts.
- Knowledge of production documentation and reporting.
- Basic computer proficiency (Desktop/Laptop, MS Excel, ERP).
- Positive communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
