About the Role

SDBI is seeking a Visiting Faculty member for Data Visualization using Power BI to teach undergraduate students enrolled in the B.Sc. Data Science program.

The teaching approach should be highly practical, with a focus on hands-on Power BI development, real-world datasets, dashboard design, and business analytics applications.

Key Responsibilities - Teaching & Delivery

- Deliver engaging classroom sessions and practical workshops using Microsoft Power BI.
- Conduct hands-on demonstrations using real-world datasets.
- Explain visualization principles, dashboard design, and business reporting concepts.
- Introduce students to industry best practices in business intelligence and analytics.
- Use case studies and business scenarios to demonstrate data-driven decision making.





Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Relevant Microsoft Power BI certifications preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.

Experience Requirements

- 3+ years of industry experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Data Visualization.
- Prior teaching, training, mentoring, or corporate learning experience.
- Experience delivering Power BI projects in industry environments.

Teaching Commitment

- Total Course Duration: 60 Hours
- Mode: On-campus teaching in Mumbai (Patkar Varde College, Goregaon West)
- Weekly Teaching Load: Approximately 4–6 hours
- Faculty will be required to prepare assignments, case studies, practical exercises, and project evaluations.
