Job Summary

SRV Agadi Hospital is seeking an experienced and dedicated Cath Lab Staff Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in assisting cardiologists during Cath Lab procedures while ensuring patient safety and adherence to infection control protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare the Cath Lab before diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Assist cardiologists during coronary angiography, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, EP studies, and other cardiac interventions.
- Prepare patients before procedures and provide post-procedure nursing care.
- Continuously monitor ECG, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and other vital parameters during procedures.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency drugs as prescribed.
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques and infection control standards.
- Operate and assist with Cath Lab equipment, including hemodynamic monitoring systems, defibrillators,



and infusion pumps.
- Respond promptly to cardiac emergencies and assist during CPR and code blue situations.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation, procedure records, and nursing notes.
- Coordinate effectively with cardiologists, technicians, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure proper inventory management of consumables and emergency equipment.

Eligibility Criteria

- B.Sc. Nursing or GNM with valid nursing registration.
- Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab nursing experience in a multispecialty or cardiac hospital.
- Experience in assisting with angiography, angioplasty, device implantation, and emergency cardiac procedures.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification is preferred.
- Valuable communication skills in English; knowledge of Kannada is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹13,202.25 - ₹35,439.67 per month
