Role description

Transition & Project Manager – Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for planning, managing, and executing end-to-end service transition activities for infrastructure and cloud operations engagements
- Ensure smooth transition of services from incumbent teams, client teams, or project delivery teams into steady-state operations while maintaining service quality, governance, risk controls, and business continuity.
- Plan, manage, and deliver IT infrastructure projects, including data center migrations, cloud implementations, network upgrades, and IT security initiatives.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and issues; develop and track mitigation plans.
- Report project progress, risks, and status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and regulatory standards.
- Drive continuous improvement and best practices in infrastructure project delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology,



Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7–10 years of IT project management experience, with at least 4 years in infrastructure-related projects.
- Robust knowledge of IT infrastructure domains (networking, cloud, storage, virtualization, security).
- Experience in vendor and stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow).
- Certifications preferred: PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or Agile/Scrum.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
