Job Description :

Key Responsibilities

- Lead firmware architecture, design, implementation, integration, validation, and release activities.
- Own firmware lifecycle execution from requirements analysis through maintenance and customer support.
- Define coding standards, review practices, quality metrics, and technical governance for firmware delivery.
- Guide and mentor firmware engineers
- Frontend communication with customer, prepare and update the project status
- Provide technical estimates, risk assessments, and project execution plans.
- Present technical status, risks, and mitigation plans to management and customers
- Collaborate with hardware, system, quality, test, project management etc.
- Support functional safety deliverables such as software safety requirements, FMEA/FMEDA inputs, verification evidence, and audit responses.

Embedded Firmware

Industrial Automation & Safety

• Embedded C/C++

• PLC/safety controller/product firmware exposure

• Device drivers, BSP, bootloaders

• IEC 61508, ISO 13849 exposure

• Static analysis, unit testing, code reviews





• SIL/PL concepts and safety lifecycle awareness

• MCU/MPU architecture and debugging

• Industrial protocols: EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus, CAN/CANopen

• Verification and Validation Test plans

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with SIL-certified or safety-critical industrial products.
- Exposure to TÜV audits, functional safety assessments, and certification evidence preparation.
- Experience with firmware FMEA/FMEDA, traceability, regression testing, and release readiness reviews.
- Experience working with global customers and cross-functional distributed engineering teams.
