What are we looking for: We are seeking an RF/EW & Data Link Engineer with experience in
RF communication, wireless systems, and UAV data links. The ideal candidate will design,
integrate, test, and optimize communication systems for drone applications.
Key Responsibilities
1. RF Communication System Design
• Design, develop, and optimize RF communication systems for UAVs and unmanned platforms.
• Select appropriate RF modules, antennas, amplifiers, filters, and transceivers.
• Perform RF link budget analysis and communication range optimization.
• Evaluate RF system performance under various operating conditions.
2. Data Link Development
• Develop secure, low-latency telemetry and video transmission links.
• Integrate long-range communication systems for UAV applications.
• Configure and optimize communication protocols for reliable data transfer.
• Ensure robust communication between Ground Control Stations (GCS) and UAV platforms.
3. Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems
• Assist in the development and testing of Electronic Warfare and Counter-UAS technologies.
• Analyze RF spectrum and identify interference or jamming sources.
• Support RF monitoring, signal intelligence, and electronic protection techniques.
• Evaluate anti-jamming and secure communication solutions.
4. System Integration
• Integrate RF modules with embedded systems, flight controllers, and onboard electronics.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams during product development.
• Validate complete communication systems through laboratory and field testing.
5. Testing & Validation
• Conduct RF performance testing using spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, power
meters, and oscilloscopes.
• Perform field trials for communication range, latency, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot RF communication issues and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed test reports and technical documentation.
6. Research & Development
• Research emerging RF communication technologies and Electronic Warfare solutions.
• Evaluate recent wireless communication standards and protocols.
• Recommend improvements for communication performance and reliability.
• Stay updated with industry advancements in UAV communication systems.
7. Documentation & Compliance
• Prepare design documentation, schematics, interface documents, and test reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable wireless communication standards and regulatory
requirements.
• Maintain engineering documentation throughout the product lifecycle

• Familiarity with Electronic Warfare, SDR (Software Defined Radio), or military communication
systems is highly desirable.
