We are seeking a skilled Billing and Coding Specialist to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing medical billing and coding to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

- Review and process patient billing information accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure that all coding complies with relevant legal and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any discrepancies in patient information.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding standards and practices.
- Assist in the resolution of billing disputes and inquiries from patients or insurance companies.
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies and follow up on unpaid claims.




- Analyze and interpret medical records and documentation to assign appropriate codes.

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, medical billing, or a related field.
- Certification in medical coding (CPC, CCS, or equivalent) preferred.
- Proficiency in medical coding software and billing systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Robust communication skills for interacting with healthcare providers and patients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
