Job Role

- Be responsible for production support & release management for application ESB.
- Be responsible for managing and supporting enterprise integration platforms, APIs, and service orchestration layers in a 24x7 production environment.
- The role involves ensuring high availability, incident resolution, performance optimization, DR readiness, and operational governance for critical BFSI integration.
- The candidate should possess solid experience in ESB technologies, API integrations, incident management, and stakeholder coordination within banking/NBFC environments.
- This senior leadership role requires solid technical expertise, strategic thinking, and proven experience in managing mission-critical systems at scale.
- Should possess excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

- API Strategy & Governance - Define API standards, guidelines, and governance aligned with business objectives.
- Architecture Design - Design scalable, secure, and reusable API architectures that support enterprise systems.
- Business Integration - Understand how APIs drive business processes and ensure APIs deliver measurable value.
- Security & Compliance - Implement secure authentication, authorization, and compliance with industry standards and all VA points should be closed.
- Performance Optimization - Monitor and optimize API performance, scalability, TPS,and reliability.
- Cross-System Integration - Lead integration of APIs across internal, external, and partner systems.
- Mentor-ship & Leadership - Guide junior engineers, review code, and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Monitoring & Alerting - Establish monitoring dashboards and alerting mechanisms for API health.
- Documentation & Standards - Maintain clear API documentation and enforce consistent design patterns.




- Innovation & Roadmap - Identify opportunities for new APIs that enhance business capabilities.
- Audit:-He should handle Audit points very care fully and all open audit point should be closed.
- Troubleshooting Expertise -Must demonstrate advanced troubleshooting skills with a holistic, 360-degree view across all connected systems and interfaces.
- Digital Channel Experience -Proven track record of working across multiple digital channels, ensuring adaptability and cross-platform proficiency.

Mandatory Skills Required

- API Platform Knowledge-Hands-on experience with at least one major API management platform, such as:,Google Apigee, Kong Gateway, MuleSoft Anypoint, AWS API Gateway, IBM API Connect, IBM/SAG Webmethods etc..
- Must have 5+ years experience in API Management implementation or production support for large BFSI organization.
- Must have managed team of 10+ members with mix of L1/L2 Support engineers.
- Having business understanding of BFSI / NBFC domain especially for Lending (Vehicle, Personal, Business, Gold & Micro FinanceLoans etc..), Digital Lending (CD, LFS, Product Finance etc..), Insurance etc..
- Have strong knowledge of digital integration stack.
- Have strong lending/digital lending experience in support.
- Have good understanding of complex networking architecture concepts including firewall/WAF/FQDN rules.
- Must have done Vendor negotiation/on boarding/ SLA Management.
- Must have Experience supporting critical production systems at least for 5 years
- Worked in NBFC/BFSI/FinTech/Aggregators Startup Sector is mandatory.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ESB / API Management certificates from any of the recognized ESB/API Management OEM like APIGEE, IBM, SAG, MuleSoft, AWS, Azure, Kong etc..) preferred.
