About the Role:

Sr. Software Engineer, Full Stack designs and delivers modern, scalable applications and services that power the Customer Data Platform (CDP). This role spans the full technology stackfrom React-based audience builder UIs and AI-assisted segmentation experiences to high-performance backend services, real-time activation pipelines, and customer profile APIs. The engineer partners closely with product, data engineering, and platform teams to build and operate the tools that enable T-Mobiles marketers and data consumers to create, preview, and activate audiences at scale.

The Sr. Engineer provides technical leadership, mentors engineers, and drives the evolution of full-stack engineering practices across the CDP. Success is measured by product quality, system reliability, performance at scale, and the growth of team capability.

What Youll Do:

Frontend & API:

- Build React-based audience builder UI and activation workflows
- Develop APIs and middleware for audience creation, preview, and activation
- Integrate front-end and middleware layers with Databricks/Delta Lake, ClickHouse, Redis, and Event Hubs
- Build AI-assisted segmentation and customer preview experiences
- Design intuitive,



performant user interfaces that handle large-scale customer data with sub-second responsiveness

Backend & Data Services:

- Build scalable audience computation and segmentation services
- Develop real-time activation pipelines using Kafka/Event Hubs
- Optimize audience preview and materialization for large datasets
- Build customer profile serving and identity-aware audience logic
- Deploy and manage services on AKS/Kubernetes
- Design and optimize low-latency APIs on fault-tolerant, highly scalable architectures
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing and advancement of full-stack engineering standards
- Mentor engineers to strengthen technical skills, delivery quality, and qualified growth
- Support project definition activities including estimation, planning, and scoping

What Youll Bring:

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience designing, building, and operating full-stack applications and backend services
- Demonstrated experience building production UIs with React and TypeScript
- Strong backend engineering background with Python and/or Node.js
- Experience with distributed systems, streaming architectures, and cloud-native deployments
- Technical leadership and mentoring experience on engineering teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to complex data and systems challenges
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives with strong organizational and prioritization skills




- Passion for learning and applying new technologies in fast-moving product environments

Must Have Skills:

Frontend & API Development:

- React, TypeScript, and Next.js for building responsive, data-intensive UIs
- Python and/or Node.js for backend services and middleware
- Designing and consuming RESTful APIs with secure authentication (OAuth 2.0, JWT)
- SQL, Databricks, and Delta Lake for data access and integration (Nice to have)
- Redis for caching and low-latency data serving
- Kafka/Event Hubs for event-driven integrations
- Kubernetes/AKS for containerized service deployment

Backend & Distributed Systems:

- Python and Spark on Databricks for large-scale audience computation
- Kafka/Event Hubs and Redis for real-time streaming and profile serving
- FastAPI for high-performance backend service development
- Kubernetes for deploying and managing production services on AKS
- Distributed systems design including fault tolerance, scalability, and consistency patterns
- Streaming architectures and real-time data pipeline development

Nice to Have:

- Experience with AI-assisted development tools and building AI-powered agents or agentic workflows
- Familiarity with customer data platforms, audience segmentation, or marketing technology
- Experience with identity resolution and customer profile unification
- Working knowledge of Unity Catalog for data governance and lineage
- Experience with ML feature platforms (e.g., Feast, Tecton, Databricks Feature Store)
- Cloud platform certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect or AKS/Kubernetes certifications
- Exposure to real-time AI inference and MLOps practices in production environments
- Experience with ClickHouse or Apache Pinot for sub-second analytical queries
- Contributions to enterprise data governance, security, or compliance initiatives
