Google Cloud Automation Engineer / Practitioner

Job Summary

We are seeking a Google Cloud Practitioner with strong automation experience to design and deliver scalable, cloud-native automation solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role focuses on automating end-to-end business processes across Finance, Operations, IT, Risk, and other enterprise functions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and build automation solutions on GCP using Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Workflows, Pub/Sub, and Scheduler
- Automate business and IT processes across multiple enterprise domains
- Develop API-based and event-driven integrations with internal and external systems
- Implement infrastructure and configuration automation using IaC tools (Terraform preferred)
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Ensure security, performance, reliability, and cost-optimization best practices
- Monitor, support, and continuously improve production automations




- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 4-8 years of experience in Automation and Cloud Platforms
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Solid programming or scripting skills (Python preferred)
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and system integrations
- Understanding of business process automation concepts

Nice to Have

- Experience with RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate)
- Exposure to ServiceNow, ERP, Finance, or Operations systems
- CI/CD and DevOps experience
- Google Cloud certifications (Associate or Professional)

Soft Skills

- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
- Clear communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to work across multiple processes and priorities
