Job Overview

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer with 3 years of hands-on experience to join our infrastructure team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between development and operations by automating workflows, scaling cloud infrastructure, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, and cloud platform management, ensuring our deployments are fast, secure, and resilient.

Key Responsibilities

- Infrastructure Automation: Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- CI/CD Management: Own, optimize, and troubleshoot automated build and deployment pipelines to ensure seamless application delivery.
- Container Orchestration: Manage and scale containerized environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Monitoring & Observability: Implement comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to proactively catch and resolve production issues.
- Security & Governance: Maintain security best practices across cloud networks, access controls, and secret management tools.
- Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, QA teams, and system administrators to streamline release cycles and improve system reliability.

Technical Requirements

Cloud Platforms
- Required: Strong proficiency in at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP (multi-cloud experience is a major plus).





Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Required: Robust experience writing clean, modular code with Terraform.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Terragrunt for managing multi-environment deployments.

Containerization & Orchestration
- Required: Production experience building Docker images and optimizing Dockerfiles.
- Required: Experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes clusters.

CI/CD & Scripting
- Required: Hands-on experience with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Required: Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation tasks.

Systems & Networking
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, or RHEL).
- Positive grasp of networking concepts (VPCs, DNS, Load Balancers, VPNs).

Soft Skills & Qualifications

- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with a knack for identifying root causes in complex, distributed systems.
- Communication: Ability to clearly explain technical infrastructure concepts to cross-functional development teams.
- Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner/SysOps, HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate, or CKA) are highly valued.
