PeopleSoft HCM Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced PeopleSoft HCM Architect to lead and support our enterprise PeopleSoft environments. This role is crucial for ensuring optimal performance, security, and integration of our PeopleSoft systems.

Key Responsibilities

PeopleSoft System Management

- Lead and support PeopleTools and PeopleSoft application upgrades and maintenance.
- Manage and maintain PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) environments, including applying quarterly HCM 9.2 PUM Images and Tax Updates.
- Apply and maintain patches and updates for PeopleTools, Java, Oracle WebLogic, and Oracle Tuxedo.
- Manage PeopleSoft security, user access, authentication, and Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations.
- Oversee Production, QA, Development, and PUM environments.
- Review and maintain configuration files across Application Server, Web Server, Process Scheduler, Integration Broker, Search, and Database tiers.

Performance & Troubleshooting
- Perform performance tuning for PeopleSoft applications, application servers, web servers, process schedulers, and search environments.
- Conduct SQL performance analysis and tuning for Oracle databases, monitoring and resolving long-running SQL and batch processes.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and coordinate with Oracle and third-party vendors as needed.

Integrations & Automation
- Support and maintain integrations between PeopleSoft and third-party applications.
- Perform application, database, and configuration migrations across environments.
- Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate administration, monitoring, and deployment activities.

Required Skills & Experience

PeopleSoft Expertise
- Extensive experience supporting PeopleSoft HCM, Financials, ELM, EPM,



CRM, Portal, and PeopleTools environments.
- Hands-on experience with PeopleTools releases from 8.2x through 8.6x.
- Strong expertise in system administration, performance tuning, security, integrations, upgrades, migrations, and production support.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all Human Capital Management (HCM) and ELM modules.

Cloud & Infrastructure
- Working knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Load Balancers, and FSx.
- Experience supporting cloud migration initiatives and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available environments.
- Experience supporting the migration of on-premises infrastructure to AWS cloud environments.
- Experience supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) upgrade initiatives.
- Proficiency in installing, configuring, compiling, and maintaining COBOL environments.

Authentication & Search
- Experience installing, configuring, and administering OpenSearch and Elasticsearch environments.
- Experience installing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Azure SSO, SiteMinder, Apache Web Server, and related authentication technologies.
- Familiarity with JumpCloud implementation activities.

Workday & Data Management
- Workday HCM: Knowledge of Workday HCM modules including Core HCM, Recruiting, Advantages, Compensation, Absence, Talent, and Payroll. Experience supporting HR business processes, reporting, integrations, testing, and production support activities.
- Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) / Data Governance principles.
- Experience in data validation, data quality management, data governance, and data stewardship, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, compliance, and integrity across enterprise systems.
