Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations of wooden pallets, wooden boxes, crates, cable drums, skids, and other industrial wooden packaging products. The candidate will be responsible for managing production activities, ensuring quality standards, achieving production targets, optimizing manpower utilization, and maintaining workplace safety. Key Responsibilities: Production Management Supervise day-to-day production activities related to wooden pallets, wooden boxes, crates, skids, and customized wooden packaging products. Ensure production targets are achieved within specified timelines and quality standards. Plan and allocate manpower, machinery, and materials effectively. Monitor production schedules and coordinate with planning and dispatch teams. Minimize production downtime and improve operational efficiency. Quality Control Ensure products comply with customer specifications and quality requirements. Conduct regular quality inspections during manufacturing processes. Coordinate with the Quality Department for corrective and preventive actions. Monitor dimensions, strength, finishing, and packaging quality standards. Team Management Supervise production workers, machine operators, carpenters, and helpers. Train employees on production processes, safety procedures, and quality standards. Monitor employee performance, attendance, and productivity. Maintain discipline and promote teamwork on the shop floor. Inventory & Material Management Monitor consumption of timber, plywood, nails, fasteners, and packing materials.



Coordinate with stores and procurement teams to ensure material availability. Control wastage and optimize raw material utilization. Machinery & Maintenance Ensure proper operation of woodworking machines such as: Panel Saw Cross Cut Saw Rip Saw Nail Gun Machines Wood Cutting Machines Pneumatic Tools Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment (5S practices). Ensure proper use of PPE by all shop floor employees. Reporting & Documentation Maintain daily production reports and manpower records. Track production efficiency, material consumption, and wastage. Prepare MIS reports and submit production updates to management. Monitor order status and dispatch schedules. Required Qualifications: Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. Experience: 3 to 8 years of experience in wooden pallet, wooden box, timber products, plywood, packaging, furniture, or wood processing manufacturing industries. Experience in handling production teams and woodworking machinery.
