Senior Tekla Structure Modeler

Location: Bangalore

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience: 5 to 8 years

Education Qualifications:

- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree (BE/B-Tech) / in Civil / Construction / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred.by recognized Polytechnic collage
- Strong computer background including experience with Tekla Structure, AutoCAD and MS Office – Excel, Word, MS Projects
- Familiar with the Detailing standard AISC, NISD, CISC, BS, IS, AWS and OSHA.
- Knowledge of basic drafting standards and principles.
The ability to
- basic math skills including trigonometry.
- Must have a good understanding of both 2D and 3D CAD.
- The ability to pay close attention to detail, precision and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal, and communication skills and a clear understanding of the English language in both Oral and Written form.
- Able to safely perform duties with a minimum amount of supervision.

Responsibilities:

- 2-D Drawing editing.



(Editing and cleaning 2-D Drawings in Cad and Tekla)
- Project modelling and overseeing the creation of project models and drawings. following the structural and architectural design drawings and specifications, in compliance with applicable standards and building codes
- Connect steel member per connection design information provided by the EOR
- Creation of RFI’s and Project related materials.
- Drawing checking.
- Coordinate with project engineer(s) and designer(s) to identify and properly document project related activities, ensuring accurate and timely documents are produced.
- Perform CAD Drawings in a manner which adheres to accepted engineering practices and standards as well as company values.
- Execute CAD Drafting tasks in a timely and professional manner in line with assigned due dates, while ensuring the highest quality of work with minimal errors and rework required.
- 2D and 3D CAD skills in the creation, conveying or extraction of information related to the project work.
- Maintain and manage project files.
- Assist with detailing operations.
- Complete other tasks assigned by the owner.
