Job Description – Mechanical Design EngineerPosition: Mechanical Design Engineer

Qualification: Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 2–3 Years of Relevant Experience
Industry Preference: Electrical Panel Manufacturing Industry

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop electrical panel enclosures, busducts, and sheet metal components using AutoCAD, SolidWorks 3D, and other relevant design software.
- Prepare detailed fabrication drawings, BOMs, and design documentation for manufacturing processes.
- Handle design and fabrication activities related to LT/HT Panels and Busduct systems.
- Coordinate with production and fabrication teams for smooth execution of designs and assembly requirements.
- Ensure compliance with type-tested panel assembly standards and switchgear integration requirements.
- Resolve design-related issues and provide practical solutions during fabrication and assembly stages.
- Work on CNC sheet metal operations including laser cutting, bending, punching, rolling, and die formation processes.
- Develop modular panel construction concepts and optimize panel part designs.




- Ensure proper selection and application of metal materials for panel assemblies and fabrication works.
- Maintain quality, accuracy, and standardization in all design outputs.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks 3D, and related mechanical design software.
- Strong knowledge of electrical panel fabrication and sheet metal design.
- Familiarity with LT/HT Panels, Busducts, and switchgear assemblies.
- Knowledge of CNC fabrication processes such as laser cutting, bending, punching, and welding techniques.
- Understanding of modular panel construction and fabrication standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot fabrication and design-related challenges effectively.
- Good understanding of different metal materials and their applications in electrical panel manufacturing.
- Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
